Joe Sharkey  Host of the gospel show known as “The Golden Age of Gospel” every Sunday morning from7 to 10 AM on More Public Radio, KECG 88.1 & 97.7 FM. We cover the world -  WWW.Jazzbeartradio.tv More Public Radio specializes in Classic Jazz, Old School and R&B. I serve as the Gospel Announcer for this station. My career started about ten years ago. We were rehearsing for a big gospel concert at the station and the manager heard me talking to the choir. He asked me if I would be interested in a spot at the station. He didn't know that I had studied broadcasting at Columbia School of Broadcasting in San Francisco. I said yes and she put me on that same Sunday. From that I got a role in a Live musical Play, “The Life And Times On Old Nave Road”, I sang the theme song. I have made many friends all over the world. I often dedicate a portion of the show to our seniors and the incarcerated. In 2004 I won the GAG Announcer of the year. My life has been richly blessed, since I started broadcasting, I have learned to appreciate all styles of music, traditional as well as contemporary, praise and worship, Quartet to the Urban Holy Hip Hop.
